Gasch Design creates a contemporary
style of mosaic art reminiscent of the architectural art deco
period of the 1920's and 1930's. Using his own proven techniques
artist Michael Gasch designs and creates works of fine art
with the durability to grace many different locations. Using
materials such as stone, ceramics, metals and glass this artform
is not necessarily art on a wall, but the wall itself. These
works are designed to reflect the structures sentiments as
well as the people within them, enhancing the overall experience.
Gasch Design works in both
residential and commercial settings doing a wide variety of
projects from flooring to fireplaces, to large scale sculptural
murals. We pride ourselves in our ability to work with creative
and ambitious design professionals to help them realize their
project goals.
Materials, technique, and style:
A love of nature has drawn Michael to stone as the primary
material in his work. By fabricating shapes using stone, ceramics,
glass and metals, the finished works have an artistic, textural
feel. Using a wide range of techniques Gasch Design creates
works that accentuate the overall idea of the surrounding
structure. Themes and styles vary widely from one project
to the next based on size, technique, and choice of materials.
Michael Gasch installs these
architectural mosaics from coast to coast. He has completed
multiple commercial mosaics in both Arizona and Wisconsin,
and his residential work may be found in Arizona, Pennsylvania,
Illinois, Colorado and Wisconsin. By designing and fabricating
in the studio and then installing projects on site, Michael
is able to work in a variety of different markets. Pricing
varies widely due to size technique, materials and location.
